Private MRI scans from only £260
We have invested more than £1 million into our equipment including an ultrasound, C-arm X-ray machine and most recently a full upgrade to our MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) facility.
Our new MRI facility includes features such as silent scanning, for anxious patients who may find the noise of an MRI scan distressing, and a fast scan option which speeds up scanning for patients suffering from claustrophobia. Multiple magnetic coil options mean that it will be easier to scan a patient in a position which is most comfortable for them.
For our Self Pay patients we offer private MRI scans from only £260. To learn more about paying for yourself, complete the contact form or call our dedicated Private Patient Advisors on

£900,000 MRI facility “really smart” says first patient
James Harmer, from Templecombe, was the first patient to use the new MRI facility at Shepton Mallet Treatment Centre. He said: “It was really smart, very clean and everyone was very friendly – I can commend them on that. Anyone due for an MRI at Shepton Mallet shouldn’t worry. It’s not stressful and they play music to cover the noise from the machine. It may look daunting but it’s very comfortable.”
